The World Laparoscopy Hospital Laparoscopic Skills Centre is located at Gurgaon, India. This surgical skills teaching facility was opened in 2001 by Professor R. K. Mishra to provide a safe environment for teaching and training in laparoscopic surgery and da Vinci robotic surgery.
The Centre provides a large range of skills training courses in laparoscopic general surgery, gynecology, endoscopy, urology, orthopaedics, and other surgical specialties at basic, intermediate, and advanced levels.
Unique and innovative training allows users to rehearse endoscopic and laparoscopic surgical exercises with structured guidance.

Course Director
Dr. R. K. Mishra is a pioneer laparoscopic surgeon, internationally renowned for his work in laparoscopic surgery, and has performed over 10,000 laparoscopic surgeries. He is a professor, scientist, prolific author, and editor in chief of the World Journal of Laparoscopic Surgery.
His training approach convinced many international minimal access surgery organizations that real laparoscopic training for young and practicing surgeons is possible when like-minded experts work together.
